Great, quaint ambience. Appetizing, delicious dishes and, last but not least, friendly and attentive service. We recommend.

Unfortunately we were too late (2.30 p.m.) to get something warm to eat. Then there was homemade plum cake. Was delicious!

you have to walk a long way to experience such taste explosions! It goes without saying that the right wines are served and all of this in the vicinity of the beautiful mill. A real highlight

The mill is beautiful. The lunch menu is incredibly delicious. The service is very friendly and the "Corona rules" are adhered to above average. Are completely satisfied.

I cannot fully understand the many good comments. Maybe everything was better before the Covid-19 crisis. The location is good, we were able to sit well on the terrace on Sunday and had a good view. The service (at least on the terrace) was slow, had to wait a long time for our menus. The selection on the menu was very small, only three or four main courses. The lamb sausage was very salty. The children's menu was only slightly cheaper, but much smaller portion.

The waiters are incredibly slow and you have to wait for quite a while. The food was to salty for me and the portions were to small for the price. DON'T ORDER THE KIDS MENU! It was way to small. 12 euros for 3 small potatoes and a small piece of chicken?! The only good thing was the view it's cozy but I'm not a fan of the food.

Happy who is currently can get hold of a table. We were lucky and were not disappointed. Ambience, food, service, everything was great. Whoever is traveling in the old country should stop here. But please call and reserve, spontaneously it could be tight with a table. 👍👍👍👍👍

I like old mills, it blows old age and history.

If you are looking for schnitzel or currywurst fries, the mill is completely wrong! At least à la carte in the evening. Unfortunately we never made it to the mill at noon. But even there you will find no classic German gastronomy on the menu. The owner Ms. Riewoldt and the waitress Daniel are easygoing, super friendly and completely without pranks - that's not the problem. There is no dress code and no etepete. You immediately feel at home in the beautiful ambience of an old mill. But the food is something very special, something that I can't find anywhere else! The chef Mr. Riewoldt manages to play with well-known and lesser-known ingredients in new, unusual combinations and yet always suitably with the tastes. The ingredients are varied in different and unusual forms and create a real taste experience. It hardly needs to be mentioned that there are suitable drinks - this seems to me a matter of course given the great quality of the food. A little tip for the driver is the alcohol-free gin and tonic! I think the prices are absolutely reasonable. But everyone may decide for themselves. The prices can also be found in advance on the card. It is clear that a 4-, 5- or 6-course menu is not available at the same price as the kitchen classics mentioned at the beginning. If you want to try something out while eating, if you are looking for delicious food and would like to have something special, this is the place for you! My verdict: highly recommended!

Beautiful old perfectly renovated mill. Elegantly cozy and also modern. Please don't just look ... also eat. It is also worthwhile for a celebration. An experience .... unfortunately we didn't have time to stay any longer.

Location is nice. But the lunch table failed. For 21.90 euros I want to be full. 5 cute potatoes, 4 stalks of asparagus, 3 slices of country ham. Afterwards actually went out to eat in another local. The lady who had the say whether she was the owner, I don't know, looked a little rude and the staff looked as if you felt pressured by her. Not a nice visit. The first and unfortunately the last time.

We were on vacation in Jork and discovered the mill. The food is great. We had asparagus with pikeperch or steak. Very tasty and the hollandaise sauce was sensational. The slightly higher price is definitely worth it. Gladly again and again.

On the way to Stade we discovered this beautiful mill and immediately stopped by. Very nice atmosphere with brick and wood. Delicious cake and enjoyable tea. Service very friendly. In the "basement" there is a fireplace room for approx. 14 people and upstairs there is space for approx. 50 people. Great location.

Excellent cuisine that must have its price. Large selection of exquisite wines. Competent unobtrusive staff. Only suggestions for improvement on a very high level ;-) When checking and uncovering, please observe the rules of the service more uniformly. White tablecloths. The ambience is fantastic. The interior of the old mill corresponds to the modern interior.

a place with tradition, very nice ambience in the mill. the menu shows that an ambitious team is working professionally here. my surprise menu was delicious. the greeting from the kitchen was perfect. the starter is finely tuned and aromatic. the main course perfect and delicious. fine sweet and very aromatic fruits were served for dessert. the always friendly service and competent advice left nothing to be desired. Here you can really enjoy and relax.

Great food, excellent wine list, best service! We look forward to coming back!
